Electric Department

The Electric Department is responsible for providing safe, reliable and cost competitive electric service to the residents and businesses of the Village.

This mission is accomplished through the line maintenance activities of our arborist and the monitoring and maintenance of the electric distribution system.

The Department also constructs new distribution systems, installs new services to business and residential customers, maintains street lights, assists other Village Departments with their electrical service needs and provides other services within their capabilities to the community.

Boards
The Electric Department is responsible for the Public Utilities Committee of Council. The Committee provides oversight and policy guidance for the Village of Wellington.

Meetings are the third Monday of the month prior to Village Committee Meeting. Committee members include Sandy Denes, Jeff Hyde and Hans Schneider.
