Overview
Wellington is fortunate to have approximately 1,500 acres of land devoted to recreation. Outdoorsman can enjoy camping, boating, fishing, hunting, hiking and mountain biking in the area parks. Families can find opportunities for picnicking, walking, birding, biking, multiple play structures, ball fields, courts and ample room to simply run, play and enjoy the outdoors.

Wellington Reservation
Our newest park is a cooperative venture of the Village and the Lorain County Metropark District. It features fishing, paddle boat rentals, miles of developed trails and the crown jewel, a year-round visitor’s center.

Findley State Park
Located just a few miles south of the Village, this large park offers camping, highly rated mountain bike trails, a lake for fishing, swimming and boating and more. Additional information, including schedule events, maps and facilities is available on their site.
