Garbage & Waste Information Village of Wellington

Refuse Pick-Up
The Village contracts with Republic Services for Refuse Pick-Up.  Refuse pick-up day in the Village is the first Wednesday of the month.

Refuse receptacles should be placed within 3 feet of the curb with the arrows facing the street.  Placement of the receptacles shall only be between sunrise of the day prior to expected pick-up and sunset of the day of pick-up.

Bulk Pick-Up

Residential bulk trash will be collected once per month on your regularly scheduled pickup day during the first full week of the month as noted below. Items that by size or weight are too large to fit in the container, such as miscellaneous household furniture and appliances, may be placed next to the green trash container on the bulk collection day. Do not place extra trash in large contractor bags as they will not be picked up.
