We are proud of the spirit of education that exists in Wellington. Excellent opportunities for children and life long learning are available in the community.

The Ohio Department of Education evaluates schools through a district report card, the report card can be found at the following link. Wellington Exempted Village Schools state report card
Lorain County Joint Vocational School
High school students are also just a few miles from the Lorain County Joint Vocational School. This facility offers skill training in a wide range of vocations. Graduates consistently attain rewarding careers.
Lorain County Community College Wellington Learning Center
We are very excited about the newest educational resource in Wellington which opened in August of 2007, the Lorain County Community College Wellington Learning Center. Located on Rt. 58 at the northern edge of the village, the new Wellington center is a 10,000 square foot facility featuring two flexible classrooms, study/conference rooms, a 25–station computer lab and four interactive video distance–learning classrooms that will connect with LCCC and the University Partnership.
Wellington is also located within one hour of numerous private and public institutions of higher learning.
